What are the indications that we are nearing the end?

This is a two-fold subject.
  • Condition one is the state of the earth prior to Jesus coming to get those who have called upon his name for salvation.
  • Condition two are the signs that the “Great Tribulation” has begun.
Condition one:

can be known by the signs told to us by the bible. The “Rapture” is an imminent event. This means there is no specific warning that Jesus is about to come.

(Matthew 24:36-44) 

But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not the angels of Heaven, but only My Father.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark.
And they did not know until the flood came and took them all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Two shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Therefore watch; for you do not know what hour your Lord comes.
But know this, that if the steward of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be dug through.
Therefore you also be ready, for in that hour you think not, the Son of Man comes.

Condition two:

will be known because the Antichrist will be revealed to mankind.

(2 Thessalonians 2:1-7) 

Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.
Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,
who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.
Do you not remember that I told you these things when I was still with you?
And now you know what holds back, for him to be revealed in his own time.
For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only he is now holding back until it comes out of the midst.
